Eileen grew up in West Orange, New Jersey. She attended Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania, where she majored in business. In 1967 she accepted a job at the United Nations, where she worked for several foreign attaches. It was in the lobby of the U.N. that she met her husband Alain, and they were married December 7, 1968. When she is not at the bindery (she also works the Monday-Saturday week), you will find her busy in her role of doggie grandma, or perhaps up in Philadelphia for the weekend visiting her daughter Michele, who is doing her residency in Pathology at U. Penn.
