We request PDF files because your formatting and page breaks will be locked in as you have set them. For suggestions on how to properly create your PDF, please see Adobe's website: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/330/330729.html. When making your PDF, please be sure to embed all your fonts. If you have landscape formatted pages, please be sure to rotate them in your file so they will print properly (In Adobe Reader, select "Document", then "Rotate Pages", then "Counterclockwise 90" for all "Landscape Pages".)
The following paper types are offerred, with printing as single-sided or double-sided. If you have color images but don't want to pay more, you can indicate to print the document as black/white.

If selecting double-sided printing: consider that extra page breaks/blank pages may need to be inserted if you want certain pages to be a front page as opposed to a back page.
Websites cited in references: URLs turn into hyperlinks and therefore underlined and in color. If you don't want them to be printed as such, please go through and remove the hyperlink code.
The document is printed all at once, and the printer acknowledges black/white pages v. color ones. If you want your color images to print in color, you will only be charged the color price for those pages. If you want your color to be printed as black/white, that is an option as well (select "No" in the "Document has color pages" area).
After completing the form, e-mail Karen and attach the completed form, along with your thesis/dissertation in PDF format. We will acknowledge receipt as soon as we receive your e-mail.
***IMPORTANT: If you are scanning in your original signature page, please check the final size and quality of the scan. If they are not acceptable to you, you may forward your original signature page for reproduction and insertion into your printed page sets.***
